14 days or less before departure – NO refund will be issued.

Cancellation requests must be sent to mjordan@jets-inc.com. Cancellations will not be accepted by phone. Refunds will be issued according to this policy and can take up to 60 days to process. No waiver of refund or cancellation fees will be granted due to death, sickness, or job loss. Should your roommate cancel, you will be responsible for the total cost of the trip or you’ll need to find another person to travel with you. We don’t offer roommate matching.

Day 1 | Casablanca

Welcome to Morocco! Your adventure begins with a warm greeting from your private driver and guide at Casablanca’s airport. As the gateway to your Moroccan journey unfolds, here’s what awaits you:

Visit Hassan II Mosque: Consider this architectural masterpiece, where spirituality meets the sea. Remember, modest attire is required to respect this sacred space.
Journey to Rabat: Transition from the bustling city of Casablanca to the serene and historic capital, Rabat, where modernity and heritage blend seamlessly.
Welcome Dinner: Check into the luxurious Fairmont for a night of relaxation before gathering for dinner. As we dine together let’s toast to the beginning of an unforgettable journey. Welcome to Morocco – where every moment promises a discovery.

Day 2 | Rabat to Fez

Today takes us from the history in Rabat to the culinary delights of Meknes, and finally to the doorstep of Fez.

Morning at Hassan Tower and Mohammed V Mausoleum: A monument to ambition and spirituality, is awe-inspiring despite its unfinished state. The Mohammed V Mausoleum stands as a testament to Morocco’s royal legacy, its elegant Alaouite architecture housing the tombs of revered leaders.
Meknes: Leaving Rabat behind, we take a 2.5-hour drive to Meknes.
Lunch & Wine Tasting at Domaine Zouina: Take an exclusive tour of its vineyards and cellars. Learn the art of winemaking followed by a delicious lunch and wine tasting.
Arrival in Fez: We travel 45 minutes to Fez, where ancient meets modern in Morocco’s oldest imperial city. It’s your first night in a traditional Moroccan riad. Dinner on your own.

Day 3 | FEZ

Today is full of Moroccan history, culture, and artistry. With a private guide leading the way, we’ll discover the soul of this mesmerizing city.

Royal Palace and Mellah: We begin at the Royal Palace, where Fez’s royal heritage is displayed through seven golden doors, each a story in design and Moroccan symbolism. Adjacent, the Mellah—or historic Jewish Quarter—offers a look at the multicultural layers that define Fez.
View from Borj Sud: From this point, the city unfolds in a breathtaking view, revealing the dense tapestry of life and architecture in Fez.
Pottery Co-op: Fez’s reputation for exquisite pottery and ceramics is well-earned. A visit to a local pottery co-op connects us with the artisans. You can purchase items and ship them home.
Fez Medina: We visit the heart of the Fez Medina. It’s like being in a living museum where the past and present coexist. The medina is teeming with activity. Inside is the famed Al-Quaraouiyine University, the world’s oldest degree-granting institution, founded by a woman nearly 859 years ago. Entry is restricted, but we’ll glimpse into its courtyard.
Lunch Amidst History: We’ll stop for lunch in the Medina, where a restaurant, serving since 1680, fills your belly.

DAY 4 | Fez to Marrakech

Today we leave the ancient charm of Fez for the vibrant heart of Marrakech, with a dash of modern mixology to spice up the journey.

Flight to Marrakech: The morning begins with a departure from the historic city of Fes, as your driver escorts you to the airport for your domestic flight to Marrakech (included).
Baromètre Marrakech Experience: In the trendy Guéliz area, Baromètre Marrakech introduces us to the art of mixology. Since its opening, it has become Marrakech’s premier cocktail bar. The Hadni brothers have crafted a space inspired by the speakeasy era, where the joy of cocktail creation takes center stage.
Exclusive Mixology Session: Before the bar opens to the public, we’re allowed to dive into the world of mixology. This hands-on experience covers the basics of bartending, the history of cocktails, and creating your signature drink under the guidance of expert mixologists.

Today we found ourselves in the heart of Marrakech having learned a new skill. Welcome to the Red City of Marrakech.

Day 5 | Marrakech

Today we’ll spend time in the heart of Marrakech, a city where every corner tells a story.

Discovering Dar Bacha: We begin at Dar Bacha, home to the Museum of Confluences. This cultural gem offers a look at the intricate tapestry of Berber, Arab, and Jewish influences that have shaped Morocco. The museum, set within a historic palace, not only showcases a diverse collection of artifacts but also invites you to indulge in a coffee journey, with over 200 varieties from across the globe available in their elegant coffee room.
Koutoubia Minaret’s Grandeur: We continue to the Koutoubia minaret, Marrakech’s iconic landmark and a marvel of Islamic architecture. Standing tall at 253 feet, it dominates the city’s skyline.
Life in Jemaa el Fna: the vibrant soul of Marrakech’s medina, the square is a living theater hosting a fascinating array of street performers, merchants, and food stalls, each adding to the square’s dynamic atmosphere.
Souk Exploration: Traditional shoemakers, bakers, and spice vendors offer a look into the artisanal heart of Marrakech.
Evening Food Tour: A private guide leads us on a culinary voyage through the medina.

Day 6 | MARRAKECH

A welcomed pause to our journey, providing free time to explore Morocco your way. There are so many ways to spend your time. Here are a few ideas:

Yves Saint Laurent Museum: Where fashion and Moroccan culture intertwine, showcasing the legendary designer’s work influenced by the city. Nearby, the Berber Museum offers insights into the rich heritage of Morocco’s indigenous people, presenting an array of artifacts that celebrate Berber culture.
Jardine Majorelle: With its striking blue architecture and lush greenery, this oasis provides a peaceful retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle.
Hammam Experience: This ancient ritual, involving a steam bath, exfoliation, and massage, offers a unique way to relax and refresh, preparing you for the evening ahead.
Artisanal Workshops and Cooking Classes: Whether it’s learning the art of Moroccan cuisine in a cooking class or mastering crafts like leatherworking or pottery, these workshops provide a deeper connection to the local culture.
Souk Exploration and People-Watching: Spend your time wandering through Marrakech’s lively souks. Later, find a streetside café where you can indulge in some people-watching, observing the daily life of this fascinating city unfold.

As you board your flight and glance back one last time, know that Morocco remains with you, not just as a stamp on your passport, but as a vibrant, enduring experience. Go home and be a storyteller.

Sahara desert extension | 4 Nights

Day 7 | Marrakech to mountains

Ready to step off the beaten path and immerse ourselves in Morocco’s diverse landscapes and cultural heritage? We leave Marrakech and head to the heart of the Atlas Mountains and beyond.

Crossing the Atlas Mountains: Our journey takes us across the breathtaking landscapes of the Atlas Mountains via the winding Tichka Pass. Each turn reveals stunning vistas and the rugged beauty of Morocco’s most celebrated mountain range, setting the tone for the day’s adventures.
Ait Ben-Haddou Exploration: Our first stop is Ait Ben-Haddou, a striking ksar that has captured the imagination of travelers and filmmakers alike. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it offers a glimpse into Morocco’s caravan trade history, with its earthen buildings and defensive walls telling tales of a bygone era. Walking through this ancient ksar, one can easily imagine the bustling activity of traders and travelers from centuries past.
The Fragrant Valleys of Kalaat M’Gouna: Continuing, we arrive at Kalaat M’Gouna, renowned for its vast fields of damask roses. The air here is perfumed with the scent of roses, and the region’s dedication to producing rose products offers insight into a unique aspect of Moroccan agriculture and culture.

Day 8 | Sahara desert

Today we venture deeper into the heart and soul of Morocco’s Sahara Desert.

Morning Visit to Todra Gorge: The day begins with a visit to Tinerhir, home to the breathtaking Todra Gorge. Here, towering red rock walls carved by a winding river create a stunning natural canyon. This is a wow moment!
Arrival in the Sahara Desert: By afternoon, the landscape transforms as we approach the Sahara Desert. The golden dunes invite us to enjoy one of the world’s most iconic deserts.
Cultural Insights: We visit a local artist’s studio that offers a unique window into Berber culture through art, showcasing sculptures, paintings, and portraits that tell the story of the Sahara’s indigenous people.
Lunch in a Local Home: The warmth of Berber hospitality shines through as we visit a local home for lunch.
Camel Trek and Desert Camp: After lunch, we mount our camels for a trek into the heart of the desert. The journey through the dunes will take us to our night’s accommodation: Paradis du Sahara.

Day 9 | Sahara to Ouarzazate

Today is the day for adventure.

ATVs in the Sahara: The day kicks off with an ATV ride through the dunes of the Sahara. Guided by a professional, we’ll climb the dunes and pause to soak in the serene beauty of the desert.
Head West: Reunited with our driver, we start our journey west, leaving the Sahara behind as we head towards new landscapes.
The Rose Valley: As we pass through Kalaat M’Gouna, we’re enveloped in the fragrant air of the Rose Valley. Renowned for its vast fields of damask roses, the region is a vital center for the production of rose water and rose oil, integral to Moroccan cosmetics and culinary traditions.
Ouarzazate: We arrive in Ouarzazate, affectionately known as “Moroccan Hollywood.” Here, the Atlas Film Studio and various filming locations offer a glimpse into movie magic storied against the backdrop of Morocco’s landscape.

DAY 10 | Kasbahs to Marrakech

Today will feel like a journey through time, landscape, and cinematic legend, from the ancient kasbahs of Ait Ben-Haddou to the vibrant city of Marrakech.

Ait Ben-Haddou Exploration: Our day begins with a visit to the iconic Ait Ben-Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient ksar, with its mud-brick buildings and defensive walls, offers a look into the past, where caravan routes once brought traders and travelers through the heart of Morocco. As we wander through its alleys and kasbahs, we’re transported into the world of epic films that have used this backdrop to tell their stories.
Across the Atlas Mountains: Leaving Ait Ben-Haddou, our path takes us back over the Atlas Mountains via the Tichka Pass. This four-hour journey is a scenic exploration in itself, with each turn offering breathtaking views of Morocco’s rugged terrain.
Argan Oil: We’ll stop at an argan oil cooperative in Taroudant that offers insights into the production of Morocco’s “liquid gold.” Here, we’ll see the traditional methods of extracting argan oil, a process preserved and performed by local women. TIP: Take some of this oil home.

As we arrive back in Marrakech, the Es Saadi Marrakech Resort welcomes us back with open arms.
